Bwired Camera Server There are still a lot of camera's which do not have a built in IP webserver for controlling and viewing the camera. For example Sony has a range of Pan Tilt & Zoom camera's which have great quality but they can only be controlled by Visca (RS232) control. Sony manufactured the EVI-D30, EVI-D100 and EVI D70. The standard software from Sony had no possibility to integrate this camera with full control on my WebPages. So I wrote my own Camera Webserver in Visual Basic 6. This camera server is fully featured and able me to control the Sony camera (EVI-D30, EVI-D100 and EVI D70) over the internet the way I want it. Be aware that with this camera webserver you can only control the camera and you still need to have some hardware and software for showing the streaming images (video feed) on the net.  See below how this can be done. Configuration form This Camera Server can be used two ways. You can use the built in Webserver on a server port, this will generate a standard webpage which contains a remote Pan/Tilt Zoom control. It is also possible to create your own webpage with a image map and push commands like Up, Down, Zoom etc. to the Camera Server. This Visual basic program needs no third-party controls, consumes little memory and almost no CPU time.
